Bennett has had a much better week with his tongue heeling up after the surgery (lingual frenectomy), picking up nursing at 6 weeks old, and with a recent visit to the chiropractor to address his reflux and gas. We have had 3 days of awesome sleep and really good feedings. The chiropractor was fantastic and located a disk in Bennett’s spine that was out of alignment - it houses 3 nerves that lead directly to the stomach (aha!) The doctor thinks that Bennett’s position in the womb (breech and then transverse lie) caused his spine to slip out of place and that has been contributing to the acid reflux and painful gas. His goal is to adjust Bennett and get him off of all medication. Please pray that we would listen to where / who / what God has in store for Bennett’s healing. Tomorrow we head up to Virginia! All your prayers for safe travels and adjustment for Bennett are appreciated! -a
